9 miles in 67:04 @ 1% incline – good time for the distance but felt like I was struggling the whole run. I need a good night sleep.

I wasn’t sure going into the run if I was going to do my scheduled 9 or push it off until tomorrow and do tomorrow’s 4 miles today.  I am just physically exhausted at this point – I don’t think I have adjusted to the time change yet and I am just not getting enough sleep.  My legs and cardiovascular system are perfectly good to go but it is taking supreme effort not to just fall asleep on the couch as soon as I get home from work!

In the end I did force myself to do the full 9 miles but it really felt like I was struggling through most of it.  Out of the 67 minutes, 6 of them were walking.  Most of the rest of the run was alternating 7.2 or 7.5 mph with 9 mph minutes.

That was rough one but I am glad it is done.  It means I only have 4 miles to do tomorrow which should mean more time with the wife and kids through the evening which will be nice considering it is going to be a bit of a hectic weekend.  Always exciting!
