222.5 when I woke up this morning and 223.5 after evening run

Run tonight was 3.92 miles on the treadmill in 30 minutes.  I started with a 1 minute walk and then 4 minutes at 7.5 mph as a warm up and then alternated between 7.5 and 9 mph 1 minute at a time.  An extra walk minute was put in there at one point and 2 of the 7.5 mph minutes were backed off to 7 mph when I needed some extra rest.

Things were a bit tougher tonight as I added a 1% on the treadmill finally.  Up to now I have keeping my treadmill runs at 0% but now I have moved them up to 1% to better simulate running outdoors.  Definitely notice the difference but judging by how the run went it shouldn’t take too long to settle in to the change.  I think the big thing will be seeing if my legs notice the difference tomorrow morning….but overall a good run.

I spent an hour in the pool before supper just kind of bobbing around and didn’t do any resistance exercises – just relaxed really.  Might still hit the pool or the hot tub tonight as well.  Next several days look like they are going to get nice and warm so hopefully that will translate into more pool time as well.
