4.45 miles outside in 39:38 – took it nice and easy to make sure my knee was doing ok…and to make sure I didn’t fall again…

Felt really good on the run today – I took it nice and easy to make sure my hamstrings and right knee were going to be ok. I had no issues with them at all but the run definitely felt slow – which is really good – shows that I have definitely improved even in the past month or 2. That certainly helps the confidence!

Only 18 training / taper miles left to go until the Manitoba Marathon next Sunday, and 9 of those are tomorrow. It is going to feel like I have all the spare time in the world next week!
