222 when I woke up and 222 after evening run.

Run tonight was scheduled to be a fast 30 minutes on the treadmill but I have been wanting to do some longer distances on the treadmill at higher speeds so I extended tonight to be 50 minutes instead.

In the 50 minutes I put in 6.22 miles – there were 4 1 minute periods walking, 2 1 minute periods at 9 mph and the remainder evenly split between 7.5 and 8 mph in 5 minute periods.  I had the treadmill at a 1% incline tonight as well.  Run felt very strong and I could have kept going.

I am definitely still getting used to the incline as the 7.5 mph which I had been using as a warm up felt like a harder push than normal – so all good – it tells me as I keep going I will be getting better / faster / stronger.

Weight is kind of hovering steady but no unusual spikes since I realized ibuprofen could cause weight gain (retained water) – I also haven’t needed any pain killers for anything in the past week so that is good too.

Spent about a little less than an hour in the pool after work / before supper and did a few resistance training sets in that time as well as few laps – otherwise mostly just relaxed.
