236.5 when woke up
This is a bit disappointing – no real weight loss shown this week.
I’m not exactly sure why but there could be a few reasons:
- skipped a mid week run last week
- due to time, etc both weekend runs were a mile shorter than planned
- goody day at work on Friday (potential culprit here – some high calorie sweets)
- ate out Sunday for lunch and had a big steak supper that night
- too much pop over the weekend
I’ll have to watch that and see if I can focus more on getting my weight down. I think it should come down more this week, especially with the 3 back to back runs Tues, Wed and Thurs. The long runs will help on Saturday and Sunday as well but I suspect I am behind a week on the weight loss now.
There isn’t much I can do about it now except try to focus again and get the momentum going. All things considered 230 is still doable before heading down to the Goofy but if that doesn’t work (what with the whole Christmas thing) a solid 232 would put me down 25 pounds from my starting point – which would still be phenomenal.
After this tough week I will really have to watch my diet to stay on track during the tapering weeks – should be interesting trying to balance the weight loss goals with starting to carb load in the last few days before heading south to Disney World.
