Just a nice simple medium long run this morning. No drama at all. It was nice and sunny but was starting to get warm. All around a pleasant run.
I did 2 short laps around the neighborhood this morning instead of heading out on a longer loop just to stick a bit closer to home. My stomach hadn’t been feeling right when I got up and I wanted to stay close in case I needed an emergency pit stop. Felt good for the whole run though.
Pace through the run was nice and consistent even with some road and railway construction to dodge.
Tomorrow is supposed to be a touch cooler in the morning which will be nice. I have a 13.1 run on the schedule but might go longer than that…maybe much longer than that. I am contemplating something crazy (and maybe probably a bit stupid) in early October but before I make the final decision on that I want to give myself a little test and see how far / how long I can go at a 5 min run / 1 min walk pace.
