A stronger push tonight – now that I have figured out my goals for 2015, I am feeling a bit more energized and happy to push harder. The new treadmill is helping here too – so far it seems to be able to take everything I can throw at it and not flinch.
I started the run with a few minutes at 7.2 mph to stretch out the legs before moving up to 8 mph. I spent most of the run alternating a minute at 8 mph with a minute at 9 mph. I threw in a minute walk at about 20 minutes in as well to catch my breath.
I haven’t sweated that hard on a run in a few months. It felt good!
