Yeah – so like I posted on Twitter – ended up being awake for about 2 – 2.5 hours overnight around 2 am with stomach issues. Still not sure if it was a stomach flu or my body disagreeing with supper. I ended up feeling ok when I got up around 8 this morning but decided to hold of on running for a while to see where things stood.
Felt pretty good around 2 o’clock this afternoon so got on the treadmill to see what would happen. I thought about just taking it easy but then I started thinking if there was a chance I wasn’t going to feel very good and had to quit, then I wanted to get as far as I could as fast as could before that happened. I did have a couple minutes there where I wasn’t sure what was my body was going to do but the bad feelings past and I was able to keep on pushing.
In the end I got in my full 9 miles in 65:27 @ 1% incline on the treadmill with only 2 minutes of walking thrown in there. Most of the run was at 7 mph or 9 mph.
