238 when woke up
5 miles tonight in 45:50 – only 1 min of walking rest at 6.6 mph – no cheating. Nice change – weekend runs kind of sucked due to the cold – they were faster than the last weekend outdoor portions but the cold and slippery sections (as well as greasy sections) were not helping in any way. At this point I have no idea where I stand for speed. Hopefully this upcoming weekend outdoor run will help me get a better idea of where I stand.
Runs on the weekend were long and cold – 6.6 on Saturday the 1st was approx 1 hr 12 min and near 0 C – roads were very slippery and greasy – 12 mile Sunday was approx 2 hrs 15 min – first 3 laps were faster than the Saturday but after that the wind picked up and dropped the temp by over 10 degress – got majorly frozen.
Weight loss seems to have stagnated as well – I had moved away from the hard boiled eggs in the morning and went to only using almonds in conjunction with the protein shake or microwaving eggs in the little egg things Heather has. I wasn’t being very consistent with the eggs so I’m not sure I was getting enough protein first thing in the morning. I also wasn’t taking wraps for lunch – I would take fruit and small snacks but nothing for actual lunch meaning I was generally hungry when I got home and probably ate too much supper and drank too much coke.
