5 miles tonight in 38:58 on the treadmill – legs are feeling good after the long run on the weekend!

A clean and solid 5 miles tonight – I tried a bit of speed up to 8.4 mph but really didn’t do a speed workout. Just kept trying little speed bursts to test out the legs.

Feeling good! I wasn’t sure what the legs would feel like today after the long runs on the weekend but so far everything feelsĀ nice and strong as I start to push through the taper process for the Dopey Challenge.

Nothing particularly exiting about the run tonight but that is a good thing for a run in the taper period!
