5 miles in 39:50 @ 1% – note to self: don’t run so soon after a big supper…ugh…sluggish

Yeah – we had a later supper and I wanted to get the run done a bit earlier tonight – not a good combo when you eat a bit more than you were expecting!

I made it through the run but I certainly didn’t beat any speed records and it didn’t feel great by any means. On a positive note though the hamstrings gave me no issues at all! Whoohoo! That is definitely a good thing.

Oh well – got the miles in and and taper continues for the Manitoba Marathon! …not going taper crazy yet.
